Connecting Local with Global: Gestión Empresarial Joins DFK International
What does it mean to be part of DFK International?
DFK International comprises over 200 firms operating in over 90 countries, with more than 430 offices worldwide. Each firm is independent; however, its associative structure fosters active collaboration based on the exchange of experiences, best practices, and shared benchmark standards.
"Being part of DFK International allows us to broaden our horizons without losing our essence. This alliance strengthens our traditional closeness and gives us the opportunity to grow alongside our clients, combining international support with customized solutions that bring real value, both locally and globally,” says Enrique Barla, founding partner of Gestión Empresarial.
Best practices that transcend borders
One of the most important pillars of DFK International is the ongoing exchange of best practices. Through specialized technical groups, training programs, international conferences, and an expert network of professionals, the association promotes the implementation of up-to-date standards in auditing, accounting management, and tax planning. This collaborative ecosystem drives substantial improvements in both internal and external processes of member firms.
For Barla, international collaboration is key: “Many of our clients operate internationally, in countries like Brazil, the Netherlands, and others, so having access to reliable firms around the world enables us to provide better service and broaden our vision.”
The accumulated experience within DFK offers access to strategic approaches applicable across various industries and markets.
Gamma Methodology: data transformed into decisions
Gestión Empresarial has established itself in the local market by offering high-quality solutions through a proprietary methodology called Gamma Methodology, which transforms economic data into strategic information.
This approach not only enhances decision-making at the executive level but is also designed to empower internal users by providing clear, useful, and actionable insights about the business’s present, past, and future.
Commitment to quality, trust, and collaboration
This integration also brings positive impact to Uruguay. By joining DFK International, Gestión Empresarial makes world-class tools available to local companies—without needing to rely on large global firms. It creates a bridge connecting global knowledge with a deep understanding of the Uruguayan market, its regulations, its nuances, and its challenges.
This incorporation strengthens the firm’s long-term vision: to be a strategic partner in the evolution of every company, providing efficient, sustainable, and high value-added solutions. The connection with a global association enables the anticipation of regulatory changes, the adaptation of international best practices, and the facilitation of responsible client growth.
Looking to the future with enthusiasm
“This alliance allows us to continue our path of evolution, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in accounting and financial advisory, now with an international projection that expands horizons and multiplies possibilities,” stated Ignacio Malan, founding partner of Gestión Empresarial.
The future holds new opportunities, and Gestión Empresarial is ready to seize them with strategic vision and professional responsibility.
